Early one morning at Bolivar Flats Shorebird Sanctuary I sound this Snowy Egret actively feeding and I spent a long time slowly sliding in the mud and water to capture this photo. I used my D300S with a 500mm lens and I was using a skimmer pod with a Wimberly Gimbal head.
